Saturday morning, both of my parents came with us to dance class to watch Gabby. Gabby was so thrilled to know that her Mimi and Bobba were watching her outside the window. Here are the girls before class in their costumes...Fancy Nancy and my cute little fairy!
That evening we had a Trick or Treat party at our house. It was such great fun, and it was a wonderful night. Gabby was super elated to be the "hostess" and to have her friends over. We ate, we played, and then we all went trick or treating together. It was especially great to have both sets of grandparents there with us...it was nice to have our little house packed full of our good friends and family. Ever since that night, Gabby has been asking when we can have another party, and when we can invite our friends over again.
Josie and Olivia...Olivia is Lilo (from Lilo and Stitch)
Amy and Brayden...we haven't seen him in person since he was about 6 weeks old. What a cutie! He has the sweetest personality; all smiles and giggles.
Cannon won the award for being the most cooperative with his costume. Not only did he wear it for the entire night, but it didn't bother him one bit. And he probably had the most cumbersome of all the costumes!
See...Gabby spent the majority of the evening just in her leotard and tights. She refused to put on the rest of her getup until we told her she couldn't go trick or treating without the rest of her costume.
David and his parents.
Sharla and Reese the giraffe...just 6 weeks old!
Finally...ready to go get some candy!

Our trick or treating entourage included 5 big kids, 3 babies, 2 grandmothers, 7 moms, and 5 dads. It was really funny to see the gigantic crowd of onlookers waiting at the curb at each house while the 5 big kids went door to door. It was also funny hearing the parents coaching the kids from the curb..."Ring the bell! Don't forget to say Trick or Treat! Did you say Thank You? Just take one piece!" Here's all the "big kids" (minus Colin) going trick or treating! I love how they are holding hands in this picture.

Chalna and me! My sweet friend from high school who drove nearly an hour to come to our house! It is always great to see her and I really wish she would just move several miles East!
Even after all the guests left, Gabby was nowhere near winding down. She insisted upon "posing" for pictures with my mom, David's mom, and David's dad, along with all of her pandas. This went on for at least 30 minutes. On a side note, it is AWESOME having all the grandparents over during a party. They kept the kids very entertained...at one point every kid was in the playroom playing with the two grandmothers, both of whom were very good sports!
Sammy and me...pooped after having a houseful of crazy kids!
Chalna has some more cute pics here!
